We are excited to announce that CarePortal has finally launched in Rensselaer County! CarePortal is a platform that connects DSS with local churches to help meet the practical needs of a family with the goal of keeping that family intact.
At our December 2022 Governance Authority meeting, HFCAC leadership approved linking arms with Justice for Orphans, who administers this program in New York State. This amazing organization is having a tremendous impact, not only in keeping families together, but also economically and spiritually as CarePortal is a literal open door to begin developing relationships with the families we provide for.
